What we do
Expiron monitors SSL certificates and document expiry dates — insurance policies, business licenses, contracts, certifications — and sends you email alerts before anything expires. Add a domain, upload a document, and Expiron handles the rest.
Why we built it
SSL certificates expire. Domains lapse. Business licenses run out. In most organizations, the process for catching these is a spreadsheet, a calendar reminder someone set up two years ago, or nothing at all.
Enterprise monitoring platforms exist, but they're built for infrastructure teams and priced accordingly. We wanted something simpler — a focused tool that does one job well, at a price that makes sense for small teams and growing businesses.
How it works
For SSL certificates: add a domain name, and Expiron reads the live certificate data in real time — expiry date, issuer, and days remaining. Checks run automatically every 24 hours.
For documents: upload a PDF or image. Our AI extracts the expiry date automatically — no manual entry. The document itself is never stored; it's processed and immediately discarded.
Alerts are sent at 30, 7, and 1 day before expiry by default. You can customize the schedule in your notification settings.
Pricing
The Free plan covers up to 5 domains and 3 documents — enough for most individual use cases. Pro unlocks unlimited monitoring, PDF export reports, and priority support at $19/month.
What's next
We're continuously improving Expiron based on how agencies and freelancers actually use it. On the roadmap: deeper WHOIS monitoring coverage, team accounts for larger agencies, and support for more document formats including Word and Excel files.
