Employee Certification and License Expiry Tracking
The OSHA certification expired six weeks ago. You found out during an audit. The employee had renewed it — and nobody notified HR to update the spreadsheet.
The document tracking system only works when people remember to update it. Expiron takes the document out of that loop.
Upload the certification PDF, the AI reads it and extracts the expiry date, and alerts fire automatically at 60, 30, 14, 7, and 1 day out. When an employee renews, upload the new document and the old expiry is replaced.
Works for OSHA cards, professional licenses, work permits, first aid certifications, food handler cards — anything with an expiry date.
- AI document parsing extracts expiry dates from certification PDFs — no manual date entry, no spreadsheet to maintain.
- Organize by department or employee using the client management feature.
- Automated pre-expiry alerts to email or Slack — 60 days of lead time before anything lapses.
Common questions
- Can we organize by department or employee?
- Yes — use the client management feature to create groups. Each group gets its own set of documents.
- What if an employee renews — do we update manually?
- Upload the new document, the AI reads the new expiry date, and the record updates. You can also edit the date directly.
- Does it integrate with HRIS systems?
- Not currently. It's a standalone document tracking tool. Integrations are on the roadmap.
- Is employee data secure?
- Documents are stored in Supabase Storage with access gated by authentication. You can delete documents at any time.
